The lawyer for imprisoned Jan. 6 protester Jacob Chansely is moving to vacate his client’s 41-month sentence.
Chansely, dubbed the “QAnon Shaman” by the media, was smeared as a “violent insurrectionist” and sentenced to almost four years in prison on politically motivated charges.
However, new information has emerged that proves Chansley was peacefully protesting at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Videos revealed that Chansely was also encouraging other protesters to remain peaceful, directly contradicting the media’s smears.

They need to hire Juicy Fruit Smellit’s grandma. She’s better than any lawyer. Send her to talk to these “judges” who are putting these patriots in prison. She’ll read ‘em the riot act.

The appeals for those yet to be tried, should demand immediate release and dismissal of all charges. Those already convicted should demand the convictions/pleas to be reversed forbidding a retrial.
Something I’ve not seen commented upon prior here or anywhere else:
If this comes to pass, Congressional hearings become compulsory, a true ‘1/6 Commission’ (not the current 1/6 Committee theater) to further expose weaponization & abuse of government resources & potential felonies by those responsible. I, for one, would love to see them seared in history as the real ‘Trump Hearings’, but I’ll take it even without the label.
They really need to vacate this, the evidence is the video. You can’t escort the guy around and then convict him of trespassing and violent entry.
If Biden’s handlers were smart, they would have Biden grant him and all those in Jail for Jan-6 a presidential pardon. Get this off the table—the looming war will need all American Support. But, that means they will have to be smart?
I wish him well, even though the chances are slim to slimmer.
Not a chance in DC of getting a fair hearing. The constitution means nothing now since not one judge will uphold it.

Lamberth is a Reagan appointee. He used to be one of the good guys.
Lamberth might not appreciate the fact that his sentence for Chansley was based on lies by the state. He forced Chansley to accept a terrible plea bargain that amounted to a confession to acts he had never committed. Lamberth should be feeling very, very guilty about that.
I gather it is not obvious how to reverse this legal mess, but it needs to be tried.
