I can not believe the Democrats are this stupid. If (and it is still a big if) actual criminal charges are brought against President Trump the precedent will be established that former President can be investigated, indicted and arrested and face prison.
The actual charges can be frivolous to the point of almost silly but once that line has been crossed (solely for political purpose) any DA in any state will be able to go after a former President.
I can think of a few former Presidents that could not withstand the level of investigation the Democrats have done on President Trump, yet they live in glass houses and continue to throw stones.
