The Stormy Daniels thing might be a tawdry affair, however, is there anything illegal here? Are non disclosure agreements illegal in any way?

I sure would like to know, what laws were broken. They didn’t break laws when they had their sex activity. If they didn’t break laws by having a non disclosure agreement, then what law is alleged to have been violated?

He already said many times he didn’t cheat with her, unless he said differently lately.

The prosecutors (persecutors?) claim that he paid Miss "Daniels" using campaign funds, which they allege is some sort of campaign finance law violation.

Smells a bit like barnyard stuff, to me.

It was not even an affair. A Golddigger tried to manipulate him into advancing her career. When he was a couple of weeks away from an election, she tries to blackmail him. He flipped her 130,000 of his personal money for her to go away. No admission of guilt, NDA signed.

For Donald Trump, that would be the equivalent of a man who makes 100,000 a year flipping somebody a fraction of a penny could go away when they were being annoying. Nothing even slightly illegal about it, it did not involve the campaign in anyway. It’s just more of the communist lawfare witchhunt and FBI corruption.

I sure would like to know, what laws were broken.

President Trump is guilty of being a Republican. For proper context, we have to look at the incident with John Kerry's 2004 VP running mate John Edwards. Edwards' wife Elizabeth announced that she had breast cancer the week before the 2004 election, which Kerry/Edwards lost.

Edwards later ran for President in the 2008 Democrat primaries. He was getting the sympathy vote because his wife had announced that her cancer had returned. Early in the campaign, the National Enquirer discovered that John Edwards was having an affair with campaign photographer Reille Hunter, and ultimately had a love child with her. Edwards eventually dropped out, the charge of cheating on his dying wife was too much for even a Democrat to overcome.

Allegedly, Edwards was paying Hunter to keep quiet about it, but it was eventually discovered. People questioned whether the payments to Hunter amounted to illegal use of campaign funds, but the Edwards campaign argued that cash is fungible and it's hard to tell which cash - campaign cash or Edwards' personal cash - was used for the payments. Edwards eventually went to trial in federal court in North Carolina and was acquitted on the count of misuse of campaign funds, and two other counts were a mistrial. The DoJ declined to retry those two counts.

If President Trump were to be indicted for misuse of campaign funds when he had billions of his own (and no love child to hide), it would be in a New York court which would be hostile to him.

Still, the spectacle of trying President Trump on the same charge that Edwards was acquitted on would twist the liberal talking heads into knots, especially when no child was involved and Trump didn't need the campaign cash to pay anyone off.

The claim seems to be that his by writing a check to shut her up, he performed an act that his campaign directly benefited from and was thus an in-kind campaign contribution and that he violated campaign finance law by not reporting it.

In essence if a candidate buys himself a bottle of water so he won't get raspy voiced during a campaign speech I guess they think he ought to report that as a campaign contribution because the campaign benefited. This immense leap of logic of course has never been pursued for anyone else and never will be again, only Trump.

Meanwhile the big guys is proven to have been on the take from Ukraine (where he started a proxy war against their enemy) and China (where he's gotten rid of all the tough on China policies Trump put in place) and it's not considered worth looking at.

No. It’s a convuluted take on the law with no injury to anyone. In a normal world this would be thrown out, even laughed at. Abuse of judicial power. Political persecution. Oh, abd they are going to arrest 1,000 J6ers.
These people are sick. When are the dumbasses in America going to get a clue.

The important thing here is to raise doubts, to be able to say, “Trump’s under criminal investigation.” The appearance of impropriety is often every bit as bad as the actuality of impropriety. Also, they’re fishing for something, anything, they can use. It would be awesome to them if they can get Trump to testify as no matter what he says it will be twisted. Also, it will be said in the typical Trump manner, which is imminently twistable.

I think some people are hoping to see Trump arrested. That won’t happen. Anyone getting close to him will have to go through the Secret Service. Everything will be handled through lawyers. If Trump were to need to present himself for photographs and fingerprints, which is improbable, it will not be handled in the usual way. It will be very quiet and dignified.
