Something just didn't "feel" right - couldn't put my finger on it, but I have been to a hundred Patriot-type rallies over the years so I don't know what the Red Flag was for me.
I cancelled my plans right before Christmas and stayed home.
Turns out it was a set-up. An ambush. And I smelled it out - thank you Jesus.
Glad you sniffed it out... I told my wife prior to the event I was sure it was a govt setup....

my sister and BIL had planed to attend. For no real reason at all they decided to stay home. As you say: “Thank You, Jesus”.
Also, a group of young men from my cousin’s church did attend the rally but had to leave right after Trump spoke, instead of going to the Capitol.
As they were leaving the area, a group walked past them headed in the opposite direction. Every one of them commented that they felt the presence of evil as they went by. The minister said, “I think something bad is going to happen today.”
