In my most recent power bill my power utility charged a real cost per kWh (including riders and tax) of 15.7¢/kWh, which is up 20.8% more than this time last year. And that's after first subtracting flat monthly fees ($15.60, which includes the 4% tax on those flat fees).

I'm convinced that the dumbing down of math is intentional so it's less obvious how damaging the Dims are.

We are getting alerts during the latest cold wave to check on elderly neighbors and relatives - I assume the bills are so high now that the city assumes they won’t turn on the heat at all.
