A recently released surveillance video shows a student allegedly attacking a Florida teacher aide, knocking her to the ground and punching her repeatedly.
Video released by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office shows the Matanzas High School student allegedly attacking the teacher's aide because she confiscated his Nintendo Switch during class.

Forget “open carry” we need “in hand carry”.
A 13%’er. I’m shocked! /s
I remember back in the 70s when a large black male attacked a female teacher. He was expelled from school, after he’d been released from the hospital.
I went a a huge(>5000) urban high school for a while in the 80’s and one of the half dozen assistant principals was an older ex military/ex cop probably 6’1” about 210# and watched him firsthand manhandle numerous youths of similar description
Also learned that those type tend to not like being punched right below the nose or in the ear tends to really put them on their heels
Weird that it looks like the kid collapsed or something. He isn’t being restrained after a certain point. I think this is a special needs kid. Totally uncoordinated attack. Certainly was an attack. Not sure it was because he was a “feral animal that needs to be put down”. He couldn’t accurately punch. Weirdly fell on ground and started kicking. Somethings up here. Prayers for the teacher. Having big autistic boy, I would be money he is developmentally delayed. Huge attachement to the game which is about the only thing that probably gives him peace. Those ESE, Exceptional Student Education, teachers are amazing people.
A video game controller. It can be played handheld or attached to a tv.
My daughter has one.
He’s in Florida, with aggravated felony charges hopefully he spends at least the next ten years thinking about this
More appropriately he’d be branded, exiled on pain of death and dropped off in some third world hellhole with nothing
Scott Adams is right. Stay away from them. They are dangerous to civilized people and getting progressively more so as the system tells them more and more that they cannot get ahead because the white man is keeping them down and that the white man OWES them everything that they can take.
They don’t want to be called “racist” and they don’t want to get punched down themselves- 6’6” and 270 pounds.
What the hell is this “allegedly???” There is no question that he did the deed. The video is definitive. A DA may not prosecute or a jury may not convict but there is no question that he beat the woman even if the system lets him off.
In the good old days - this monster would have been subdued quickly - and then expelled immediately.
Now these students have ALL the rights (and they well know this) - the school district will back up the kid, along with the union and the kid’s parent. Teachers usually have no recourse but to hire a private lawyer and sue the school district and principal (for nor providing a safe environment). I’ve seen the teachers’ union repeatedly ignore teachers like this - unless the teacher is black.
This along with the message the kid is getting in every class that White Supremacists are responsible for holding him down and keeping him back and they are the greatest threat he faces in a system that is irredeemably and systematically racist.
If there is any pushback whatsoever, such as the principal suggesting an alternative school for the “student,” the parent will show up, enraged, with a community advocate and most likely a lawyer - supplied by the local NAACP. If it goes before a judge, the judge will declare that the best place for this monster is “to be in school” and demand an immediate return.
Saw this happen all the time in my 33 years as a professional teacher. Most of the time it is swept under the rug completely and the public never knows.
Resource officer should have shot him.
I think Scott Adams is overreacting a bit- but I’m open to changing my opinion.
Time will tell.
“I’m not an old man, but this is a world away from my high-school, which was all boys. Its incomprehensible to me.”
In the past when you had a fight with someone you stopped when the person was down or quit. You used the minimum amount of force to win. A male would NEVER fight a female, you NEVER hit a teacher. All that has changed. In recent years we see people sucker punched to unconsciousness, and then kicks to the head, body, etc, to cause maximum damage, even death. This incident is a good example, a female teacher instantly rendered unconscious by a large male student and then beaten when helpless. Lucky he was stopped by others or he would have killed her, for almost nothing.
I have family members in public education. All of them are trying to find an exit strategy.
Discipline and violence is out of control. Inmates running the asylum situation. Teachers are often punished for the actions of out of control students.
So bad, many school districts have organized their own police force. To deal with the problems? No! To control what is seen by parents and the public.
I agree with Scott. Get away, stay away. There is an UEB, and it is within the nation. It has a color and it is black.
Wow Scott Adams came out and said all that? I guess this will lead to the remainder of his clients dropping his cartoon. While I can understand his emotions, I’m not sure that complete racial separation would be viable at this point. Most people have accepted economically separating from the thugs and moving to predominately white suburbs as being sufficient for now. If that option ever becomes unavailable, then yes more drastic measures might come into play.
It looked to me as if the girls that went to help the aide managed to pull him off of her and he found himself on his back with his feet toward her so he kicked. Lucky for those girls he was being absolutely single-minded about trying to kill the teacher and didn’t break their bones. That resource officer should be replaced.
I have one too.
There’s a possibility that he might be severely autistic, but he’s in the public school system due to ‘least restrictive environment’ policy (a nightmare, BS, policy that serves neither the student nor the school, as kids like this end up in the same class with other kids not severely handicapped, which means the entire class goes at the speed of the most hampered kid).
However, none of that matters. Once he launched on a teacher, the kids next stop needs to either be a squad car or an ambulance.
We don’t ask workers in industrial situations to work without PPE, mechanical interlocks, guard rails, etc that prevent workplace injuries. A school should be no different. I would have hit this kid over the head with a big book and then had six people restrain him until the cops got there.
This one needs an encounter with Mr. Rope and Sir Tree Limb.
