Kevin McCarthy and Paul Ryan were two of the “Young Guns” buddies (along with Cantor).

Paul Ryan has said that he’ll do anything to stop (or hurt — I’m not sure which) Trump.

I know it sounds simplistic but perhaps D.C.’s political inhabitants need a refresher course on the Consent Decree.
