Former President Donald Trump early Tuesday warned that President Joe Biden's policies on Ukraine could lead to a third World War.
"If you watch and understand the moves being made by Biden on Ukraine, he is systematically, but perhaps unknowingly, pushing us into what could soon be WORLD WAR III," Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social page. "How crazy is that?"
Trump's comment came after Biden met with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday following a secretive trip to the war-torn nation's capital city of Kyiv, traveling there one day before Russian President Vladimir Putin's address to the nation and less than one week before the anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
During the trip, Biden promised $500 million in new military aid for Ukraine and said additional sanctions will be announced this week against companies trying to evade sanctions to "back the Russian war machine" and also against Russia's elite.
Biden did not mention fighter jets, but a military aid package that will include artillery ammunition, anti-armor systems, and air surveillance radars to protect Ukraine from bombing attacks.
Trump, meanwhile, has blamed Biden for the war's escalation and recently said that if he was the president, he would negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine "within 24 hours."

I totally agree with you.
Every single FReeper must call their US Rep and US Senators immediately and demand that this administration put the stop to Biden’s push towards WWIII.
If you don’t have those office numbers saved on your phone, shame on you.
Russia only blew up half of Nordstream2, apparently. One pipe is still potentially functional according to Gazprom.
I hope you have a white flag because you’ll be waving it a lot when every tin pot dictator nukes up and threatens us with WW3. The surest way to guarantee future nuclear proliferation is surrendering to nuclear blackmail. Guaranteed.
I sincerely hope that you’re right, but right now it certainly seems to be escalating.
Yup.
You just want blood. You don’t care if the reason makes any sense.
1/2) Jens Stoltenberg effectively ended the Biden administration saying Russia started this:
He Did It Again – General Secretary [NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg] Admits NATO Has Been at War Against Russia in Ukraine Since 2014
2/18/2023
2/2.) The Nuland call leak, the Color Revolution in Ukraine, and news outlets reporting on the Obama administration supporting a coup in Ukraine might cause some people to think if some in the U.S. don’t like an election they’ll just support a coup, so what did Russia think?
Did they think they were next?
lodi90 is an unhinged nutjob.
It all goes back to this. What I think is interesting is the Obama administration did this to Ukraine and Joe Biden and his son were involved in the puppet government. We just bully every country in the world, and some lemmings here in the US are totally OK with this behavior. I do think that there is coming a reckoning for all our deeds soon, and NATO is just gonna sit that one out and say: “Well, you had it coming”.
Than why is he allowed here? Why are controls so weak? Does he donate a lot of dollars? Why is this forum being subverted by interventionists, jingos, and faslse flag operators?
No. The premise of your assertion is that Ukraine is in Russia's imperial "sphere of influence," so you are begging the question, because that is exactly what Russia is trying to establish by force.
The US tolerates lots of countries allied with Russia near its borders: Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua. Men were hanged at Nuremberg for waging aggressive war, which means for territorial aggrandizement, which is what Putin is doing. I do not think it's prudent to return to the pre-WWII system of empires competing for spheres of influence which produced two world wars.
No, I just want warmongering Russians to go home to Moscow and stop threatening to nuke us. That is all.
The notion that Chinese or Russian victory will help us is utter kookery.
We have both external and internal enemies. The ones inside are more dangerous, but that doesn't mean you can just ignore the external ones.
Thanks. Personal insults coming from you are a badge of honor.
A few came out last weekend in DC and Munich. Putin must have injected cash into the "peace movement" again just like the old days.
You forgot to ping me. Tsk tsk. I happily voted for DeSantis 3 times, Trump twice and will probably will vote Trump again. And you?
Just to annoy you
“The notion that Chinese or Russian victory will help us is utter kookery.”

I don’t know of anyone saying a Russia or China victory will help us. So, who are you commenting to, there?
What I do know is we are in WWIII and we started it and have been working on fomenting it for decades and from multiple angles.
I also know there’s no stopping this doomsday train, under this administration. There may be no stopping it under the next administration, if we survive as a superpower force until then and depending on whether or not we get an administration serious about peace.
Hardly the actions of an aggressive alliance. In fact, Putin rightly saw all these measures as signs of weakness.
If you want to argue the Europeans should take care of themselves, even my European relatives would agree. It's not that they won't, it's that they can't: despite the EU, Europe is still a set of squabbling nations that can easily be split against one another as Putin well knows.
So the question the US faces is whether it is worth it to keep making the defense commitment to Europe as it has been doing. I think allowing Europe's vast financial and technical resources to fall under the control of Russia and China would be a disaster for the US. But I also think we need penalties against NATO members who do not pull their weight like Germany: for example, tariffs on their imports to support US military commitments.
As far as any grifting involving Ukraine, I always chuckle about that considering they just passed a $1.7 trillion porkulus spending package that include more than $600 million in pork just as Richard Shelby's "retirement" gift.
They don't need Ukraine: they steal our money in broad daylight because they know there's not a darn thing we can do about it.
