President Donald Trump has won the hearts of conservative voters across the U.S., and a series of new polls over the last few weeks can resoundingly prove it. On Tuesday, Trump remarked that “Despite the Fake News, which is out in full force, and our weaponized and corrupt legal system, the people get it!”

2024 National Republican Primary Polling Trends by Morning Consult

January 2:
Donald Trump: 45% (+11)
Ron DeSantis: 34%
Mike Pence: 8%
Nikki Haley: 3%

JANUARY: 22
Donald Trump: 49% (+19)
Ron DeSantis: 30%
Mike Pence: 7%
Nikki Haley: 3%

His comment captioned a graphic of the 2024 National Republican Primary poll that shared data from Emerson College, which found that among GOP primary/caucus voters, Trump held a whopping 26-point lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who has been recently touted as the heir apparent to Trump.

However, Trump leads DeSantis with 55 percent against 29 percent in that poll.

Updated primary polling trends from Morning Consult on Jan. 22 showed that Trump had seriously broadened the gap between himself and DeSantis, netting a 19-point lead over the Florida governor. To put this in perspective, Trump held an 11-point lead over DeSantis on Jan. 2, per their research, which means he gained eight points in less than a month among GOP primary voters.

In that poll, Trump held the lead among a field of potential GOP primary contenders with 49 percent of support. DeSantis garnered 30 percent, and former Vice President Mike Pence accrued 7 percent of the vote. Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who has been making rumblings about potentially running for president, netted only 3 percent of support among GOP voters.

Trump also scored the lion’s share of potential GOP voters in a hypothetical 2024 primary race in a recent Economist/YouGov poll, which found that among Republicans and Republican-leaning Independents, 44 percent preferred Trump as the nominee, while 32 percent preferred Gov. DeSantis.

DeSantis has not officially entered the race for president at this time. However, RSBN previously reported that Trump had a simple response when asked by David Brody of “The Water Cooler” show on Real America’s Voice if DeSantis was making a poor decision in considering a 2024 presidential run.

“…I hear [DeSantis] might want to run against me,” Trump said. “So we’ll handle that the way I handle things.”

This won’t matter if the vote is stolen again as it was in 2020...and 2022.

The Swamp is very powerful.

Only Donald Trump has threatened it. All others have no particular interest in focusing on it.

Any Republican focused on cutting taxes and lowering spending is not a conservative.

Drain the Swamp
Build the Wall
America First In All Things
Pro 2nd Amendment
Pro Life

THOSE are the 5 measures of conservatism. The talk of other things is just Swamp filth which traditional Republican conservatives talk about and never ever, in decades, actually execute.

True conservatives want less government, and that is defined as term limits and rejection of incumbents, all of whom . . . ALL OF WHOM . . . get co-opted into the Swamp after just 6 years in any elected office at any level.

I'm not concerned about DeSantis. I AM concerned about beating the fraudulent election network, including the electronic voting machines, and all the half-wit "karens".

I’d guess by the time 2024 election comes around, which is not too long from now, most American’s will be so disgusted and PO’d with this Democrat dumpster fire, Trump will win in a big landslide, even with fraud.

This country can’t afford the time for Ron to get up to speed in DC swamp fighting Trump 24.

DeSantis saw the writing on the wall and pivoted on the “vaccines” a long time ago. He requested a grand jury probe of the vaccines and his surgeon general advised against the COVID-19 vaccine for young men.

In the meantime, my favored candidate has been sitting on his hands ignoring mounting evidence and public sentiment that is now going against the vaccines. Over 25% of people in the US say that they know someone who died FROM the vaccines. The longer President Trump ignores this situation the more out of touch he seems. The Democrats are already figuring out how to pivot on this; they want to leave President Trump holding the bag.

Newsweek was more than happy to run this story because it characterizes President Trump as an idiot. You can expect a lot more of the same in the future.

DeSantis would make a better President. He knows how to use gov’t systems to get things done. And he knows how to appoint the proper people.

Having said that, Trump is by far the better campaigner. And he’s been screwed over so badly by the deep state I want him to win just to shove it down their throats.

But all this doesn’t matter because the deep state will be selecting our next President. Only way Trump won the first time is they under-estimated the amount of fraud needed for Hillary to win. They didn’t make that mistake with Biden. And they won’t do it in 2024.

This is way the few District Attorneys that are MAGA need to start making up charges against judges and their entire family if they helped cover up election fraud. Also start prosecutions against democrats for being democrats...just investigate them like hell. Pull them in front of grand juries...their families everyone they know. Make it painful to be a communist.

I am afraid the swamp is 10 times more powerful than any individual, including PDJT. Trump lost to swamp in 2020.
And sadly, will lose even bigger in 2024.

Trump is 76 and DeSantis is 44, so it makes sense (to me) to have a Trump/DeSantis ticket. DeSantis can be an active VP, showing he can then be a capable president for two terms.

I agree with you... Trump + DeSantis for four years, then DeSantis for 8 years equals 12 years of conservative office.

Having Desantis on the Trump team would be great...he has experience cleaning up elections in Florida and can bring that experience to GOP governors across the nation in front of the election.

Both can’t be from the same state.

Did you know that in 1888, Theophilus Van Kannel created the revolving door in Philly? “True story…”

DeSantis isn’t running.

At this point, it wouldn't seem to make any sense to run.

DeSantis doesn’t have to show squat. He has shown himself abundantly capable to lead as Governor of Florida. The last thing he needs to do is be Trump’s VP and blemish his political future.

It’s Trump that needs to start showing us he learned something from his last gig in the WH and the time since. He isn’t excelling on that.
