There is a change in the air. You can smell it. It's the smell of fear and the rank odor of hypocrisy. Yesterday the Washington Post, as they are wont, treated the country as though all its citizens were stupid.

No. That's not even close. In fact, it's a lie that the Post is helping Biden sell.
For two years this country has been gaslighted by the most galactically dishonest regime in history. For two years Joe Biden has said that there was no border crisis. For two years that maggot Alejandro Mayorkas has been telling us the border is secure. For two years the country has been screaming for border control.
That ended with the GOP taking the House.
Now suddenly everything's changed. Facing the very real prospect of the impeachment gallows for abrogating his sworn oath as President to protect our borders, Biden is going to change course. He's taking open border seriously (not really, but we'll touch on that later). I was wondering what the recent Biden barrage of bullsh*t was all about and now I know. Biden took out his pen and is rewriting history. He is fashioning himself as the #1 most concerned leader on Earth vis-a-vis border security.

“I think it has been a very strong priority, and what we really need is a comprehensive approach to the border that is fair and humane and enforceable,And then he let us know what's coming
and it’s very hard to do that on a — on a single-party basis,”In case you were in doubt, he's talking blanket amnesty.

Although migrants have a statutory right to apply for asylum, the president does not have to let them into the country. The Supreme Court has held that the president has authority to suspend the entry of aliens with the sole prerequisite that he thinks their entry "would be detrimental to the interests of the United States."This invasion isn't doing the country any good whatsoever.

Where are the 67 Senate votes for conviction and removal going to come from in either case. it might be a infintesimally higher probability that there is a possibility of 67 votes to convict and remove Myorkas but it’s a certainly almost zero probably for Biden.
Have we forgotten that Clinton was impeached, tried in the Senate not convicted. Was he no removed? Have we forgotten Trump was impeached twice! Was he removed?
Is the goal to just make a statement? Something like the Rats did with impeaching Trump?
That’s called “virtue signaling”! We make fun of the Rats when they do it! So, when we do it its Ok?
Where do you see that the issue of standing was even considered, much less considered dispositive?

What is happening on the border just simply Cloward-Piven writ large. The lying is just part of it, with ValJar and Obama behind the scenes telling them to just double down on all of it. After all, what are they (the people) going to do about it? They have their hooks so deep in the media that they can lie and gaslight at will, with absolutely no consequence at all.
And that is as far as it will go. They get a stain on their names and continue to serve. The Senate will not remove them.
this is just atmospherics in preparation for 2024. Biden has to pivot if he wants to win that election.
this is a relatively low cost thing to do. immediately after the election in 2024, he can resume his open border policy if he wins.
the brunson case was like various obama citizen cases that tried to get to the supreme court in 2009. they never got accepted by scotus. but they were intensely anticipated and hoped for by freepers.
