The ground game was working but more persons on all sides of the conflict harmed, so they withdrew troops and are crushing infrastructure.
Aerial bombardment can work well to soften the enemy up to prepare for a ground invasion, but since Russia can’t seem to mount a successful one of those, this isn’t getting them any closer to victory.
Tell that to the 8th air force.
They shut down Germany’s ability to produce weapons and all manner of supply.
No. It was in fact the same strategy the US employed in Iraq & Serbia. First strikes were on electric/water supply. Stated reason was this was best way was to ‘pressure’ the gov’s and their civilians by taking out the lights and water. Per the US Sec of State.
Did so quite proudly, too.
