Any "oversight" by the McLeadership of the McRepublican Party will be a McJoke.

We all know it.

McCarthy, McConnell, McDaniels are the WORST leaders the republican party has ever had.

The Biden regime will just stonewall everything for the next 2 years. The republican house will issue numerous reports which will receive no media coverage.

Doesn’t the House have the power of the purse?

They’re stupidly fighting in a house that’s on fire.

Shortly, some Great Leader will come along, and amid the cheap disorder, make Order popular — and he will rule.

That will be True Tyranny, as he will not have any limits.

Of course they are.

The Dems are ALWAYS two steps ahead of the Republicans.

“The Biden White House is...sending letters through a special counsel informing Reps. James Comer, R-Ky., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, that the administration has no plans at this time to respond to the records requests they have been making.”

Were I the GOP Congress I’d respond by telling the Biden Regime that we have no plans at this time to respond to any of their budget requests.

Corrected headline: biden white house wants to continue its crime spree, opposes Republicans efforts to bring it to justice.

Yup. 2 years worth of stonewalling is what we’re going to get. They corrupt are in charge and they have no intention of relinquishing any of their power.

What would be the endgame? The GOP committee members will use it as a fund-raising exercise; other than that, it will be a massive waste of time (and money).

I’m sorry, the WH is under no obligation to respond to requests now from a Congress that will not be seated until next week. Now, what happens when the new Congress is seated, why we’ll just have to wait and see.

A part of me would like to see the new Speaker appoint a committee to investigate the Biden family and specifically not allowing the democrat leadership have any say in the appointments. Make it so that witnesses are not subject to cross examination. Any who don’t respond to committee subpoenas would be charged with contempt of Congress—not that DOJ would prosecute.

A sort of sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander kind of thing. Compare and contrast media coverage...

The Dims do not want their VP to become President, so if Biden fails to respond to Republican demands, they should impeach Biden.

Everyone understands that the Senate will never convict, but the threat might cause the Dims to make stupid mistakes in response.

“you don’t currently have the credentials for a document request” may be technically the correct response.

I doubt it made much of a difference in the attitude of the two Republicans going forward. If it was just a show of the tack the WH will take after Jan turn over of the chairmanships, then we’re simply gonna see legislative warfare against the WH as expected.

SOP, just as the Jan 6th clown committee rescinded the subpoenas against Trump, because they expire at the end of the Congress.
