Funny how we are always expected to vote for the establishment republicans and to take one for the team. The establishment is never told that they must support the conservative candidate and that they must think of the big picture. The one way street has to end somewhere.

First, I'd point out that the vast majority of Republicans supported Trump in the general elections in both 2016 and 2020 even though he didn't win a majority of primary votes in 2016. So assuming you define Trump as "conservative", there's your two-way street I'd rather have the Speaker be from the Freedom Caucus too, but the fact is that the Freedom Caucus doesn't have majority of GOP votes within the caucus. You rally around the guy who got the most votes, not the guy who was second or third.

Bullcrap. The GOP leadership opposed Trump and fought him tooth and nail. They did so before and after the election.
Bush and everyone associated with him treated him lie garbage every step of the way.
They NEVER supported him. And that was evident also in the 2020 election steal.

It is a one way street.
