Bullcrap. The GOP leadership opposed Trump and fought him tooth and nail. They did so before and after the election.
Bush and everyone associated with him treated him lie garbage every step of the way.
They NEVER supported him. And that was evident also in the 2020 election steal.

First, I was talking about GOP voters, the vast majority of whom did rally around Trump even though he wasn't their preference in the primary.
But you're wrong about the leadership as well when it came to getting him election. Most elected Republicans did support Trump for election in 2016, and for re-election in 2020. Zero Republican representatives voted for impeachment in 2019, and Romney was the only Senator who voted to convict.
