The chances for Ukraine and it’s civilians are far less than Britain in the days of Churchill.
The defenses laid by Britain were far more serious than Ukraine.
Britain cared about its citizens not dying far more than the leadership of Ukraine does about its citizens.
Ukraine actually has no chance. Their hopes of an expanded conflict (their only chance before last week) were dashed when the missile strike in Poland was exposed as a hoax.
Now the only reasonable objective for Ukraine should be to preserve Ukrainian lives, but that will have to wait until the $50B “aid” package has been properly laundered and all the bribes paid. Then and only then will Ukraine seek peace. But they will soon after that. The leadership will be found in warmer climes at that point, because they want to enjoy their ill-gotten gains with their loved ones, while the rest of Ukraine is subjugated, freezing, and in the dark.
Is that clear enough for you?
Lastly, Zelensky is no Churchillian figure. He falls far short in every way.
You are wrong on every count. The Ukrainians know the reality of siting under artillery bombardments and yet they are willing to fight on. The atrocities committed by the Russians are very real. Ukrainians do not want to live as slaves under invader pigs and apes. The Ukrainians have already won the respect of the world with their spirited resistance to the evil invasion. The one-time-zone David has humiliated the eleven-time-zone Goliath.
My wife is one of those Russian speakers from the Donbas. She and her family and friends know the truth of the 2014 invasion and that series of atrocities. Death to the invaders !!! Death to Russian trolls !!! Glory to Ukraine.
