when they KNEW his age would be an issue for another run.

They were/are terrified of him. They would lose their seat on the gravy train AND THEIR FREEDOM. The corruption is 245 years deep in Washington. They know if their secrets were ever found out they would be walking dead men and women. Sexual perversions, pedophilia, drug use and abuse, graft, grift, kickbacks, embezzlements, bribery, and even outright murders are in that secret box they do not want opened, at all costs.........................
