Yesterday, the corrupt Biden Department of Justice announced the creation of another Special Counsel to attack and harass President Trump.
The lack of a response from Florida governor Ron DeSantis speaks volumes.
Ron DeSantis is doing an amazing job in Florida. His policies and statements have been very good. But his silence on the issues that matter to the Trump base speaks volumes.
DeSantis also remained silent on the raid of president Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago.

Ya know, Some Americans seem compelled or driven to elect nothing but lawyers/politicians. The same people who can least relate to them. Yet they vote for them like zombies decade after decade.

Because he is a fellow Republican of some stature in the party. Because he has national political aspirations and as soon as they take care of President Trump they will be setting their sights on Gov. DeSantis.
All Gov. DeSantis had to say is that "the Federal Government needs to stop its witch hunt against Republicans. Especially when President Biden's son has more public evidence of illicit dealings with China, which truly deserves a special prosecutor".
He doesn't have to mention President Trump by name.
Big miss no other way to look at it. Will it hurt him. Probably not. If President Trump survives he is likely fairly wounded going into the Primaries. But it does imply that DeSantis is making a political calculation for himself as opposed to what is good for the US in general not to mention his own party.

Ron DeSantis taught high school in Rome, Georgia in his gap year between Yale and Harvard. If he ever runs for President, look out for the Democrats posting stories of interactions between his 23 year old self and Freshman to Senior Co-Ed girls. Look for the New York Times article of the reporter who went to the twenty year high school reunion to get the student's recollections. I am sure the Democrats have lots of material to expound on ad infinitum when the day comes.
You may be right, who could ever know, but anyone who attempts to psychoanalyze someone else, even knowing the lexicon of psychology, automatically makes me doubt anything you have to say.

That is what a man of honor would do, but we know that will never happen, and because of that Ron DeSantis will never be a POTUS.
About the only thing Desantis had besides starting a violent Civil War over Mar-a-Largo legal warrant, in spite of everything was this:

So to say Desantis did not say/weite anything about the incident is flat out lies.

I’m not a fan of his. He’s too close to Pompeo, for one thing. He could make a lot of statements that would help convince me he wasn’t a swamp creature. But he doesn’t.
I assume Drew68 will vote for Trump if he is the nominee, as will I.
It’s not splitting the vote to say he can’t win.

DeSantis, a former Navy man, abandoning ship. He’s got very little chance of getting the 24 nomination, but he’ll be a front runner in 28, if he plays his cards right.
Hoft is an idiot. I didn’t hear other GOP governors comment on this either. Why should DeSantis?
