I don’t think DeSantis has to go overboard about it. I just think it would project strength against the injustice at the so called justice department and it would be a gesture of goodwill.

Are kidding? The former president of the United States has his private home raided by armed people and not a word from the governor of that state? This has never happened in the history of this country. He should have taken to the GD podium and rocked it, telling all this could have been done very differently and probably never at all.
I agree, but it didn’t happen. Looks like DeSantis is going to be silent again. I think that is a shame and it will hurt him if he runs.
On the other hand, Noem unfortunately did waffle a bit on the transgender madness that's so in vogue lately (not sure how effective her EOs were), while DeSantis never did -- he and his team called it insanity from day one and, working with the conservative GOP majority in Tallahassee, had bills signed into law banning it.
Both states allow hunting with suppressors, South Dakota does have open carry (which we strangely lack) as well as Constitutional carry, both are Class III states. Neither has state income tax.
Yeah, thinking about it, I suppose we could call it a tie.
Now if we could just get Texas a bit further up in the rankings... $;-)

In 13 elec tions since 1972, I've voted for an outsider non-politician 5 times. And since 1980 I've been reasonably consistent.What I want is irrelevant to the task at hand. I don't think Trump can be re-elected. The Democrat will be a horror.
I am not committed to voting for DeSantis. My one regret is not voting for Rocky Anderson in 2012.
