Did Youngkin or DeSantis attack Trump? Maybe Trump thinks they aren’t giving him enough credit for helping them win? Whatever, these attacks on our political allies are unnecessary and divisive in my opinion. It makes Trump seem petty.
Does Trump not have anyone advising him on how to win hearts and minds? You’d think he would have learned something by now of how to say what he wants to say without the constant me, me, me self promotion.
For example: “Congratulations to Ron DeSantis on a great victory in Florida! This proves once again that Americans want our MAGA policies in a free, fair, and secure election. We will continue to work together to ensure Republicans win big in 2024!”
Versus: “Ron DeSanctimonious owes everything to me! He’s a disloyal cur!”
I’m not even a political consultant, but wouldn’t the former statement project unity while still making it clear Trump policies won?
The article wasn't that long and didn't explain anything.
“As far as I remember, he only disses folks as a RETORT. That’s his usual m.o.”
Then why the change?
Trump knows that the “establishment” is trying to get ahead of him in order to keep him from running for president again. This is Trump’s effort to get ahead of that effort taking root and being outmaneuvered.
DeSantis and Youngkin are collateral damage, Trump has said truly awful things about people and then cozied up to them later when it served his purposes. Also, yes, I think this strategy is awful and I lost all respect for Trump as a person for using it years ago when he did it the first time. Still think he did some really good things as president and will vote for him if he is the nominee, but I do not respect someone as a person who pulls these stupid stunts.
That said, Trump and the establishment republicans have to get on the same sheet of music. Neither one can get the real electoral success that they want without the other’s respurces or support and this past election should be a glaringly obvious example of that. Do I think they will have that type of clarity to come together? No. Our best hope is thst the dems get worse at collecting votes, which is not happening.
Oh I’ll take three Supreme Court judges low inflation over anything. You want nice? You got Biden
DeSantis’ biggest backer is hedge fund guy Ken Griffin, who is not a conservative and doesn’t seem to be a Republican. He wrote a $500,000 check to Biden’s 2020 inaugural committee.
Bears repeating.
I’m referring to the bulk of the article, in Trump’s own words.
Trump jumped the shark when he threw shade on two of our winners. A stupid and unnecessary act. It feeds into everything his critics say about him. It makes him like an ungracious bully, especially to women. I would vote for him over all of them but he has sabotaged his chances with the women vote so he cannot win a national election IMHO.
Correct. Trump does not care about the country or the party, only about himself. He had the audacity to congratulate himself on his endorsements after this disastrous result.
You are wrong.
1. The Republican Governors Assn is tops at 20 mill
2. The Florida Republican party is 2nd at 10 million
3. A conservative donor is third at 7 million
4. Griffin is 4th at 5 million.
Guess you’re on Trumps payroll...right?
And we lost a senate seat.
DeSantis flipped 7 house seats.
Unfortunately, there is no way that the powers that be will ever let Trump back into the presidency. They will take him out if necessary.
“...President Trump did more than just spend 16.4 million on candidates. He campaigned for them and did fundraisers for them which brought in millions also...”
Who did more than Trump for the republican candidates???
Please tell us...
Look those two companies up. The people who move in those circles are exactly what Trump has in mind when he fails against “the Swamp.”
FR admin should start purging sleeper trolls.
Funny, I see a good few people on this and other threads who like trash talking Trump and if you look at their profiles, they were not very active before the midterms this week. Hmm, lol.
Trump going scorched earth.
“It’s a bit ironic that a lot of conservatives are now rejecting Trump due to mean tweets.”
Threatening my great governor was uncalled for.
“Now where are the wins?”

We have been living this 1984 existence for 6 years and still don't understand that the uniparty and lamestream immediately jump on and support the latest narrative decreed by the central committee. Trump bad - support DeSantis.
You are right. Everytime folks here jump onto this kind of bandwagon they prove how styudpid and gullible conservatives can be. They are the rubes that the deepstate elite say they are.
