I’m guessing she couldn’t get an answer when she called for whatever reason and when the cops show up he answered the door not knowing at that hour what caused the cops to be there. He did not mention he was in danger from an intruder (whether or not they were both in the underwear) and just walked back in. The “John” became upset thinking Pelosi called the cops and the beating began. The police obviously did not suspect foul play as they did not immediately enter the house to stop the beating. The 911 call and the body cam needs to be released. If this was the spouse of a Rep congresswomen it’d be on the news the same day !

If that's so, then Nancy, the media, etc. deliberately used it to accuse the GOP and MAGA, saying we whipped up violence and caused this-- knowing they were lying. They want half the country to be denied the politicians they want, and they will lie to bring that about. There are no words to describe how vile these people are.

A news producer is the person who does the grunt work for a story. They make the phone calls, they set up the location and work with the interviewee’s people. In a lot of cases they brief the “talent” and write the questions.
The reason why news reports are so slanted is because the producers are lazy. They have their favorite “sources” for story inspiration. They are the reason you hear the talent use the same phrases across different networks. They cannot be bothered to dig, just a little bit.
They aren’t “bad” people; just not inspired journalists.
They are Propagandists, not Journalists.
