If your current computer does not support dual monitors it is
time to replace it anyway (IMHO).
This can be done now quite affordably.

If you are interested in a dual monitor support Windows 10 machine
that is pretty fast I'll recommend the one that I've been running
for going on two years.

I have had zero problems with the thing -
and the current price is $159.99.

And takes up little desk space, or NONE if you mount it
the back of a monitor. Yes it is THAT small!

I am very leery of modern TV’s, as I think they are potential privacy nightmares.

Many recent models have builtin microphones (for voice control, of course) and some have cameras. Almost all have builtin WiFi.

If your TV listens in on you and connects to your home WiFi, or a nearby public WiFi hotspot, it becomes a TV from ‘1984’ — for real. (And soon 5G will make it even easier.)

(Remember when it was discovered that Amazon Alexas sometimes sent audio to Amazon without the owner’s explicit agreement, and that sometimes Vizio TVs sent data to Vizio Corp. unbeknownst to the owner? )

My own TV is an LG with WebOS, NOT Android, for that reason. If you don’t set up the WIFI, it cannot share. We just use OTA TV and DVD/Blu-Ray and USB sticks with it.

Since you do graphics don’t get a curved monitor. Straight limes will all appear curved and you won’t get a true WYSWYG on the screen.

The ability to zoom separately with two monitors can be useful on occasion, but for most work I would prefer a single *large* extra-wide monitor. Some years ago, I had two 1920x1080 (FHD) monitors on my desk at work. It was better than having only one, but you can’t really split a window across them because of the gap.

Now, at home, I have one 27” 2560x1440 Dell U2713H monitor. It has pretty good resolution and excellent sharpness and color, plus *lots* of adjustments (e.g., color temperature). I would like something with more resolution (3840x2160 or better), and a physically bigger screen. Dell has a 43” one of those, but it costs around $1000 and isn’t as adjustable as my current one. Plus, I might have to upgrade my graphics card (it’s an older Radeon HD 6770).

My wife, on the other hand, has a very nice 38” 3840x1600 Dell U3818DW, which she uses for video editing in Premiere Pro. It has the same pixel width but more pixel height than two 1920x1080 screens side-by-side (which she used to have) and doesn’t have the gap. Even so, there isn’t quite enough screem space, so it would be nice to have something still wider (and maybe taller). Or maybe two U3818DWs side by side. But then “you’re gonna need a bigger desk”.

I bought a giant, old Dell monitor that uses a Dual-link DVI cable for higher resolution. Getting it interfaced to anything modern is a bear, but it's just such a fine piece of gear.

And, I bought a second one as a spare.

This week I got in two PicTek mechanical "gaming keyboards" for $13 each. One gets a keyboard-gasm with every keystroke!

Good for you, for saving money. Two of us just bought a new monitor for a student. All his computer equipment has always been secondhand, and he didn’t seem interested in anything new. But, I hope he ends up liking this gift.

In the past week I got a new, different Mini PC -
this one made by an outfit called 'Minis Forum'.
It has 8GB of memory (RAM).

This one cost $101.00.
It is slightly smaller than the Kamrui.

After one week I can report no issues with this one either.

The notable feature of this machine (the main reason I bought it)
Is that it supports one HDMI monitor AND one VGA monitor simultaneously.
Supports TWO displays - one of which is an old VGA flat screen.
(So I didn't have to spring for ANOTHER new monitor.)
