A American English teacher who is black in Ning bo city China got declined by one of his female students when he tried to date her. He disfigured and killed her. The Chinese Court convicted and sentenced him to death. He appealed and lost it. Execution could be on any day now

Yes, I’ve heard of it.
Chinese student Chen Shijun was murdered by teacher Shadeed Abdulmateen in June 2021.
Abdulmateen was sencented to death in April this year.
There was a heated discussion in Chinese social media whether to show clemency to Abdulmateen on the basis of his being a foreigner, with most Chinese debaters being against it.
