This is why do many neocons are also NeverTrumpers. They hate Trump because he denounced the Iraq invasion and occupation, and he said we should try to get along with Russia - and he also said he wasn’t sure he should trust our intelligence agencies over Putin.
Neocon: Somebody who agrees with John McCain and Lindsey Graham that the debtor-nation US should borrow money from China to spend on pointless wars against Russia.
Neocon: somebody who is brasses with the integrity of Ukraines border far more than the defense of America’s borders

So “Republican Wildcat” is a neocon. Real examples make definitions easier. To a neocon, focusing on America, instead of Ukraine, automatically means you support Putin. Which is factually dishonest of them.
