Back in the 70s I could hear fan conversations from the broadcast booth while watching the team on local TV. They were terrible and the fans didn’t go out to see them. We just mainly watched every game on TV back then.
I would rather watch an Indians game.

Too bad - I went to an INDIANS game about 4 or 5 years ago, when visiting CLE. We sat with a great view of the downtown buildings, along the first base line. great game, it believe it was their 100th win of that season.
Then, management loses its guts and does this. I’ll never go to another game again.

The guardians would be a great name for a roller derby team. In fact, I believe it was!
The guardians of traffic, on each end of the Lorain-Carnegie bridge are iconic in their own right. But there is NO excuse to change the name of the team, none whatsoever.
