It’s at least a little ironic that after decades of leftist rule, it’s Italy that embraces the type of nationalism that should be the model for the Western world. We need boldness in leadership, not “woke” or globalist ideologies surrounding climate change, and proper pronouns.
We need Republicans to act like Giorgia Meloni.
It isn’t just that she’s against the radical leftism that’s pervading across the Western world. Many Republicans can make that claim. But goes so far as to proclaim the solutions that are unpopular in woke culture but fundamental to the survival of western society.

One can argue she sounds a lot like Donald Trump, though perhaps even more honest about the problems that plague society. “Natural families” are a key to any society’s success and the vast majority of Republicans have bowed to LGBTQIA+ supremacy in one way or another.

You even hear FReepers wanting to cave to the leftist lobby and claim U.S. States have the "right" to redefine marriage to whatever they want it to be, as if crooked state politicians have authority over natural law.
I bet you won't hear Ms. Meloni say she's washing her hands of social issues on the national level, and if the individual Italian states want to allow partial birth abortion for 15 year old girls and allow a guy to marry a horse, well, gosh, that's fine and dandy as long as the local legislators approve it!
