The elites in Europe don't really want Americans of European ancestry returning. They want third world economic refugees to perform the crap jobs that regular citizens don't want at cheap wages. The radical Islamists tend to be the second generation who read the Bad Book and what it says about infidels, and resent that they are in the socially inferior position.
