How the Situation in Ukraine Could Get Far More Dangerous: After days of a withering Ukrainian counteroffensive, the Russian defense ministry announced that it was withdrawing its forces from two areas in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. In a video statement, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky quipped, “The Russian army in these days is demonstrating the best that it can do — showing its back.” Ukrainians celebrated, and rightly so. While Russian spokesmen said that Russian forces were “repositioning” ahead of a new offensive, reporters on the ground cast doubt on such pronouncements both because they mirror Russian statements as it abandoned its drive toward Kyiv and also because Russian forces left in such great haste that they left numerous arms and equipment behind.

Russia now has serious problems with logistics support of its artillery. Their rate of fire is way down, as it appears in the truly amazing satellite fire maps.
It doesn’t seem like Russia can plan on its “2 million” tons of explosives. They have no answer, as yet, to Ukrainian means of counterbattery and interdiction, and in that Ukrainian capabilities can only improve.
Given where they are supposed to be those Grads and their ammo dumps are now boot or wreckage.
and yet, that silly DOOMSDAY CLOCK won’t move one second...
Why would Russia go nuclear when the can us VX or Anthrax for area denial attacks? Russia kept all three types of it’s WMD’s.

A tactical nuclear strike will not happen. There are saner heads in the Russian chain of command and even if a dying Putin were to enter the launch codes, someone somewhere would disable the weapon and blame it on malfunction.

I lean towards that “ theory” also. The take away is the Gog, MaGog, along with the Kings of the East are THE major players. Interesting is today’s alliance being formed- the Russian Chinese alliance.
a lot of interesting comments about what nato and the west would do if russia uses battle field nukes. one thing is for certain, world nations would be screaming “peace and safety” “peace and safety” Russia now uses a different nuclear strategy, its called: escalate to de-escalate.
