The swastika was a symbol of Jew-hate before WW1 in places like Romania. Hitler apparently arbitrarily chose the right-facing version, as both right and left angle versions had been around for 2000 years. Perfectly possible the left version was brought to Jerusalem by eastern Europeans before Hitler had been heard of.
There were carved swastikas on old sites in the middle east ages ago.
However, the above image in Jan 1, 1936 was accompanied with the word Hitler. Misspelled Hiteler.
Though some 80 Nazi Templars brought some large swastikas from Hitler weeks later (Feb.5.1936) [https://www.jta.org/archive/80-nazis-return-to-palestine-with-swastikas-from-hitler], they wouldn’t have misspelled Hitler.
Arabs began drawing swastikas in Oalestine a a protest against the Brits and Jews in Palestine at least since 1934.
