Governor Ron DeSantis this week suspended Soros-backed Florida prosecutor Andrew Warren.
DeSantis suspended the state attorney because he refused to enforce Florida’s abortion laws.
"Warren said that it doesn’t matter what the legislature does in the state of Florida. He is going to exercise a veto over that. He’s also instituted policies of ‘presumptive non-enforcement’…that is not consistent with the role of a prosecutor. You can exercise discretion in individual case, but that discretion has to be individualized and case specific,” DeSantis said as he announced Warren’s suspension.
Andrew Warren ran to the lefty media to complain about DeSantis’ decision to suspend him, calling the move “blatantly unconstitutional.”
"[DeSantis] does not have the authority to suspend me … the people elected me to serve in this position and I am going to continue doing it,” Warren said on CBS News on Friday.

Well, it’s pretty apparent DeSantis does have the authority. This clown can yell at the clouds, but that’s not going to get him back in office.

Send in State Troopers, drag him out, change the locks..and confiscate all of his papers... Advise the Dept. of Treasury to no longer extend him a check.. Simple.. Call CNN and the FBI for a midnight raid of his house, take him away in handcuffs.
DeSantis absolutely does have the authority.
Dan Bongino explained this quite well – you are not obligated to write A traffic ticket on a case by case basis if you are a policeman.
If you are a District attorney, you have discretion on a case by case basis to prosecute or not prosecute A particular crime.
But, you cannot make a blanket statement that you are not going to enforce a law that is on the books, legally passed by legislation.
In his example that he gave, he said you can go out and stop someone who is speeding, but have to discretion not to give them a ticket.
But you cannot go into work that day and say “I am not going to write speeding tickets anymore for people who are speeding.“
I don’t think this guy is going to have a leg to stand on, and he shouldn’t. He should be dismissed.
There is a reason the police were summoned to escort this guy from his office.
When they have nothing they go with unconstitutional , LOL but he thinks it OK to refuse to do your job ,an important job like his ,LOL

If this prosecutor is elected he might have a case.
Don’t know the particulars but it’s my understanding the FL Supreme Court has previously upheld the constitutionality of this law. So if hes not just posturing we could see state troopers hauling him out of his offices . Rats love their performative crap, so we shouldn’t be surprised to see things come to that
Governor Ron DeSantis acted well in this instance. This is not the first crooked State’s Attorney turned out of office for blatant malfeasance of office, nor should he be the last.
DeSantis said state law was on his side but we know what the left think of law.
This moron doesn’t have the Constitutional right to pick and choose which laws to uphold, and which ones to ignore. He took an oath of office that he “will well and faithfully perform the duties of Florida State Attorney...” Faithfully performing one’s duties includes upholding the laws created by the State Legislature, whether he agrees with them or not.
