Dr. Peterson is a work in progress. Also, he is very Canadian. My Canadian wife came around on Trump based on his actual performance on pro-life/family issues, but it would have been much more difficult had she not lived in the U.S> for a couple of decades.

Be patient with Dr. Peterson. He is brutally honest about what he actually thinks, mostly asks the right questions, is hard-working and intelligent, and is intellectually very, very intelligent.

He comes from the milieu of evolutionary psychology, and that informs his thinking. There’s a lot of garbage for him to cut through.

I wish he would take a break from those Russian and German writers and pick up some Chesterton or Dickens, balance things out a bit.

Absolutely. Trump is the only person who has the fortitude to save this country. Peterson will come around. His personality bias gets the best of him.

I like Jordan Petersen, but he should realize, divisive is needed at this point.

Along with some prison time for the demonratic leadership.

Calls him a divisive figure. Well, Trump is divisive precisely

Yes he is. I would prefer more divisive. 😃😀 Anyone who goes up against the deep state, is automatically labeled as divisive. Wear their scorn like a badge of honor.

I'd have to agree with Peterson on one thing, Trump is divisive but not out of capriciousness or because he wants to be. He's only divisive because those who don't agree with him or want to work with him are so adamantly against him out of their own capriciousness. He was a media darling and a favorite donor of the Democrats until he ran for president. Then he was considered an upstart for daring to think he could run a country without putting in the years of politicking that his enemies have. How dare he!

But we know he's a business man who thinks big and who is confident in setting and achieving goals. This does not go over well with leftists who clamp onto every victim-hood du jour and turn it into major national issue because they have no moral compass. So they cater to tribalism since that's more effective in garnering emotional support from the poorly educated, easily manipulated masses. And they really can't stand that he cares about America which seems to bother them no end. They are actually the divisive ones but have a leftist-ridden media on their side to claim otherwise.

“Trump is divisive precisely because he’s countering the woke Left and the corrupt media”

How exactly did Trump successfully counter the Left and the media? They’re much stronger now than they were before he was elected and he didn’t really do much until being kicked off after his Presidency and he had no choice other than to move to Truth Social which isn’t exactly the next Tiktok. The biggest things I can think of that he’s done on this front specifically are add to Twitter and CNNs bottom line.

Peterson has come around on many other things..... not the least of which is a worldview that embraces Christianity as the real and positive force that it is. He may not have been specifically anti-Christian in years gone by (say decades ago before he became so well known) but I suspect that like anyone with strong opinions, he was battling an element of cognitive dissonance until it became too much for him to carry on with. Such is the nature of mankind that the existence and nature of God will be denied until God has had enough....

I suspect the same will be the case with Peterson’s view of PDJT. He is still clinging to a view that he will eventually have to admit to himself can’t be supported.

To summarize, his belief system is essentially pagan and only occasionally intersects with God’s principles. Since he has swallowed huge volumes of lies in his intellectual life, it is hardly surprising that he is blind to the assault on truth perpetrated in the 2020 election cycle.

The trouble with Jordan Peterson is that he is smart, but he is not saved. He just doesn’t understand giving in to the Spirit.
