This ban is a very good idea, in theory. The country is divided enough as it is. Woke nonsense just make things worse, much worse.
But I sure can see how this law will be a regulatory nightmare. For who is to decide when a meeting or a presentation crosses the line?
I work for a subsidiary of a fortune 500. It’s amazing how little wokeness they publicly display.
We just held out annual meeting without a rainbow flag or any words about all the typical woke topics. There was lots of talk of financials, products etc.
The guy who did much of the planning and execution of the meeting is, shall we say, extremely well dressed and flamboyant. They gave him a hearty round of applause for his skills and abilities, not his life choices.
The overwhelming majority of employees would fit in well here at FR.
Racial pride separates a person from God as it inflates the ego and a person becomes full of themselves. If we are full of ourselves then we have no room for God in us.
It is the exact opposite of humility.
The surrender and guilt that wokeness is trying to impose on people is not humility, but slavery. It is a shackeling of the individual will.
Freedom is essential for spiritual growth as if someone else is holding power over your individual will, then you do not have the authority to surrender your will to God.
When you step back and look at the greater picture it is easy to see how evil uses communism to stop souls from growing.
We don’t “go” to Heaven.
We “grow” to Heaven.

Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan, forced a friend to watch a video showing two men having sex. This was so she could learn to like them, it upset her so much it brought her to tears. She had to view this to keep her job.

A private company is not the government. Free speech is about the government, not conduct in your private free associations.
In “my” private company I determine the rules of conduct, including what you can and can’t do on company time. You get to do what I say you can do and you don’t get to do what I say you can’t. Our association is free, not compulsory, you are free to leave anytime.
The same stupid line of law could ban a religious based private company from religious based rules on speech and behavior on company time.

25 years ago I hired into a fortune 100 and was shocked by this mandatory new hire training where this fat black chick started telling the group about the evils of the white male.
I raised my hand and said, “what is this?”, I feel like I’m begin hated”.
She calmly asked the group if they shared my opion and they all shut their mouths at which point I decided to drop it, get through it and get on with my career.
Then later in HRM meetings run by a majority black woman HR where a % of positions flagged as minority or minority female. ...which is illegal. I left the company because of their internal racism.
Long way of saying Desantis is right!

I have it on my training schedule at some unspecified time, but it seems to have been on pause for a few months. Hopefully they eliminate it completely rather than merely reworking some of the more hostile sections.
