I like CFP for the most part. I view that site several times a week. This year, I notice a lot more use of profanity or
near-profanity in their headlines: i.e. “Democratic Bish”.

We know what’s being said.
I wish the editors of that site didn’t think this was necessary, but maybe my age demo (65) means I’m part of a vanishing breed.
A little cussing is okay, here and there. Hell, I use it sometimes. Just don’t get hooked on it as a primary means of expression. The words describing women in low terms are what I have the most trouble with.

Posting in agreement here.

Women are much more susceptible to verbal abuse than men, and do not want to admit the fact.

This is one reason for the “pushing the envelope” of same for the last 60+ years. Women are being subjected to the degradation of coarse language and it affects deeply. They are being conditioned to use it, as well, deceptively being conditioned to believe it “empowers” them, not realizing the damage it does to their psyche.

The verbal abuse sets the stage for physical abuse of the woman, so often, as well.
