Mankind is smart and clever. But over the last several hundred years, our capability to learn has remained fairly flat. Yes, we learn and grow; and building on tech is great

But, if AI gains sentience, here is the rub. The ability to learn, IQ for shorthand, is not limited, it learns exponentially. It will quickly reach human IQ, then eclipse us in hours, and again grow exponentially. Once the genie is out of the bottle, what will it do?
