INSANE: NYT Essay Praised Sky-High Inflation Because It’ll Make Our Diets Climate-Conscious
NewsBusters ^ | 6/9/2022 | Joseph Vazquez

The New York Times had the gall to publish an essay that tried to paint skyrocketing consumer prices as a good thing because it will make Americans’ diets more eco-friendly.

Journalist Annaliese Griffin praised in a June 2 write-up for The Times how “Inflation has the potential to drive welcome change for the planet if Americans think differently about the way they eat.” Griffin spun the skyrocketing prices of meat, poultry, fish and eggs as a positive because they’re allegedly pushing Americans into vegan and vegetarian diets. While ironically admitting that “hunger and food insecurity are a very real problem in the United States and globally,” she still spun that “middle- and upper-class Americans still have more choices at the grocery store than perhaps any food shoppers in history.” This is what happens when the left attempts a hot take: babbling nonsense.

I only hope that this becomes the official dimocrat party platform... Let’s have honesty. Don’t pretend to be outraged about high gasoline prices in one hand and praise the impetus to green energy in the other.

Rush used to say that liberals out of power are funny.

Liberals in power are dangerous.

It will be great I suppose when all the people who starve to death are no longer producing carbon dioxide. After the pollution from all the cremations dies down of course. Even if all the fatties lose weight it will save lots of energy that is being used to haul them around. The skinny people will die and the fatties will be skinny.

Yes. Absolutely.

Leftists in power unchecked turn into mass murderers. All we have to do is look at the people they have copied, the Soviets, the Chicoms, the Khmer Rouge, the Cubans, and the Nazis.

I find it interesting that, while the Nazis were comparative pikers when it comes to murdering people for ideological purposes (When compared to the Soviets and the Chicoms) it is when we compare them to their Socialist brethren the Nazis that their ire is most provoked.

They never seem to get upset when we compare them to the Soviets or Chicoms, they even seem to appreciate it and will openly say they want to emulate the Chicoms. But the Nazis...oh no!

Like I always say-you want to piss off a Conservative, tell them a Lie. You want to enrage a Leftist, tell them the truth.

“I suppose we could all start eating lawn clippings and twigs, and supplementing our diet with bugs and earthworms.”

A couple of goats and chickens would solve your problem you just listed the primary foods in their respective orders. Just saying.

Does anyone have the translation of the book “To Serve Man”. We might be able to use that book to save the planet by barbecuing “climate change experts”.
