I try to only buy Italian pastas. Their supplies have been impacted from the same issues: stupid Wuhan protocols, lack of workers since many live in Eastern EU countries and weren’t allowed in [last year, at least...i think its better now] and fertilizer...all the same. Plus supply chain issues means it can’t get here. EG, Walmart had trouble getting Molisana on the shelves for a time.
I think we are going to see rolling shortages and tremendously higher prices.
And it’s all deliberate. That’s what passes me off the most.
I tried raw pack and didn’t like the way it came out.
Never answered my question why a russian embargo on grain and oil should affect us when we used to be able to make enough to be self sufficient and export it.
Reason we cannot is US fedzilla politics.
And the best way to end Putin would be to flood the energy market with our energy. Fat chance that will happen though...
