they mean newspeak democracy, not that antiquated one where people were allowed to have opinions on every issue and say them and even vote on them. That leads to too much chaos as people make the wrong choice on important issues on who to vote for. In newspeak democracy people will find their ballots thoughtfully pre-filled out for them when the arrive to vote. Those who object may say so but the will, of course, see their social credit score effected somewhat dramatically.
Leftists love democracy. They use it to get a majority to elect them then they eliminate the ability of the majority to vote. Democracy means you get to vote one time. Once they have the government all their efforts go to consolidating power. Venezuela is a prime example. They were doing great until the majority voted for the socialist then the socialist made it so they couldn’t vote to get rid of him. Now the majority lives in poverty but they voted for it as a democracy.
When leftists say, "a threat to democracy" - what they mean is, "A threat to OUR white liberal 'elite' power'... Nothing about the left has anything to do with 'democracy'. You're right Telepathic...
