Russia has always seen itself as the savior of Christian civilization, until it was crushed by Marxism. It’s come out of that period, and its vision of itself - as a Christian savior nation - has returned. Putin may not be a great guy and a very good Christian but we have to understand where he’s coming from and his vision of Mother Russia, as they used to call it.
Finding a black market doctor and home mortgage loan could be difficult.
Don’t be so sure about that. There will be more rebels than there will be sheep.
No
OK, read and answer the rest of the post. I know Russians very well, I sang in a Russian Orthodox choir for years, I’ve visited Russia, I studied Russian in college as a minor but never got to the “reading Dostoyevsky easily” level but I could read Pushkin and Turgenev.
This has always been the dream of Russia and its vision of itself and whether Putin himself is a good person or not doesn’t matter. They’re working from one world-view, and the US is actually in this case working from the woke secularist view through its puppet Zelensky.
People need to understand this better.
The Great Reset was supposed to mandate Covid monitoring on your phone.
That plan failed.
They now have a new plan.
One of my favorite C.S. Lewis quotes explains my view on these things better than I ever could:
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.
The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth.
This very kindness stings with intolerable insult.
To be “cured” against one’s will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.”
Evil is evil. Trying to ‘understand’ the evil makes about as much sense as trying to understand criminal behavior. It makes for interesting conversation but doesnt change the right or wrong of things.
We know who these elites are and (usually) where to find them. They must start having “accidents”.
...everybody already has one...

Not everyone.
We traveled extensively from 1975-2005. I doubt we have the stamina today, even if we had the will. Even the Pacific & Caribbean islands we loved are today demanding tests and quarantine. Some have supply chain problems and can’t support extra bodies straining their resources.
We’ll be out of this vale soon enough. I just pray we avoid the majority of the torture they have openly announced to be in store for humanity or that someone (or Someone) intervenes.
Oh: and fewer and fewer people use Google. Those still using Facebook are irredeemable, IMO.
They can access our purchase records and hopefully be appalled at our meager purchases. We avoid hospitals and providers who utilize digital records. No one can totally go off grid, but one can keep a lower profile and stay under their quotas, at least for a time.
“Putin is our last line of defense”
That’s ludicrous.
If you have a better nominee for our “last line of defense” against the Davos madness, name them.
You’re insane.
But I remember you being nuts before.
I await your nominee—never heard of anyone named “You’re insane”.
