And you ask why nothing ever changes? THIS is why! We need regime change in BOTH parties...not the same RINOs and obstructionists to the change the people are begging for.

Yes indeed, you are correct...

Jim Jordan is my rep.

He pulled this crap once before when he voted for Boehner to maintain the speakership.

It’s not like he didn’t have a choice. Conservative Louie Gohmert was running against Boehner and Jordon voted for Boehner. I watched it on C-Span.

What a freakin’ letdown. Is Jordan truly for MAGA?

Disappointing. On the other hand, Trump still hasn’t completely cut McCarthy loose, even after McCarthy’s comments to Liz Cheney went public. Truth is he didn’t do all that bad as Speaker for most of the time Trump was in office. But he went weak kneed after the stolen election and as Minority Leader he’s been atrocious. I’m not sure how effective a strong Minority Leader would be under the circumstances, with the Dems in charge, but it would have been nice to find out.

“Glad I’ve decided not to vote in any future elections unless voter fraud is fully eliminated.”

That’s like throwing away your devalued currency because it’s worth only half what it used to be.

Half the value sucks, but it’s still value. Don’t throw it away to make a point.

There is no one on the midterm ballot that I will vote for. My Republican representative has repeatedly voted to send money to Ukraine, and she's voted on some other things I didn't agree with. I've called her office over the past two years to complain about her various votes, so at least I've voiced my opinion. She lost her seat in 2018, most likely to Democrat fraud, and she ran again in 2020, but had to go through a lengthy legal battle over absentee ballots. She was finally seated in February 2021. They'll likely try to steal her seat again this November, but she'll be on her own when it comes to my vote.

I'm done holding my nose and voting for the lesser of two evils, because after it's all said and done, you're still stuck with evil. At 74, 2020 could have been the last Presidential election I voted in. I have no idea if I'll be alive in 2024. If I am, and Trump is the nominee, I'll vote for him, and him only. The rest of the f-ng party can suck eggs. I live in New York State, so it's not as if my vote actually counts anyway.

I understand - it depends on your particular situation.
I just mean in general, lesser of two evils is just that - lesser of two evils.

Less evil is better than more evil right?

But I admit, sometimes it’s more like a choice between two 100% evils - and in that case, your vote really doesn’t make a difference.

Where are you - Massachusetts?

To repeat myself — the GOP is not now and will not be the natural home for philosophical conservatives. They are only marginally less dreadful than the communist party.

There is no conservative political party in the US. There is the Left (GOP) and the Maoist (Dem)

Nope. No evil is better than any evil at all. I won't compromise my values anymore for the GOP. I need to be able to look at myself in the mirror every day, have a clear conscience, and be happy with what I see.

I live in central New York State. New York City elects my Senators, and voids my Republican vote for President.

P.S.: And New York City elects the Governor.

I wonder how many times Frank or Jimmy “came out on top” and if they cared to keep track?

I will vote, but I am very particular now. R is not enough.

Well there is a small group of true patriots in both houses. After the midterms if there isn’t A fraud repeat it appears more conservatives will be seated. Many of Trump’s endorsements are improvements.

Maybe we should spend our time stuffing ballot boxes sans cell phones.

It wouldn't matter. Republicans wouldn't do anything even if they happened to win by cheating.

probably the best we could do is to hope for a competitive Dem in November, if polls indicate a close race, then we should all contribute to the dem to defeat McCarthy out of the house so he can’t be speaker!

We’ll be in a depression in 2023, and we can blame ALL politicians.
