Thank you. That’s part of the scariness: we really don’t know what we’re facing - if everything goes OK to start!

Not that long. I broke mine and was up and around soon enough. If she puts effort into the PT she’ll be fine soon enough

My borther in law, at 80 yrs, just had hip replacement a month and half ago. Doing very well. No longer needs a cane and pretty much doing all he did prior. Does go to physical therapy weekly still and has begun doing his daily home routine excersizes on his upper body - soon will be able to do lower body.

Rather than have peopl take care of him after surgery he moved into the spare bedroom at his sisters do they could care for him there without disrupting their own routines. Thus he ate with them and she did his laundry and like that for 3 weeks after his surgery. It was a great idea and worked great for them all ...Now of course back in his own house.
