They might hold a fake referendum, but I don’t think that is going to stop popular resistance to the occupation.

Oh, ye. It sure didn’t stop resistance in Crimea and Donbas.
The truth is that once Ukrainian tyranny is removed nobody immediately wants any part of it back.

Is that what CNN told you?

After the troops entered Crimea, [189] a controversial referendum was held on 16 March 2014 and the official result was that 97 percent wished to join with Russia. [190] On 18 March 2014, Russia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Crimea signed a treaty of accession of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol in the Russian Federation.

97% is quite the mandate.

Isn’t this why they separated from Ukraine in 2014?

Expect more of same in the east. The Ukes will end up as a landlocked entity with no military and the Nazis will be vanquished.

For some areas it is just about over.

The regions taken over are starting to set up governmental agencies and embassies. I think it was the BBC who referred to one of them as a “republic” the other day. That was the Donbass area.

The Russians appear to be about to try and gain control over the Odessa region.
IMO that is as big a mistake as was the incursion into the country. But none of that matters now. BTW, every time Zell the bell called for peace talks, pig face Bidet stirred the pot to keep it going.

Zell the bell is about to lose a good portion of his country. He is nothing but a bell being rung back and forth by outside sources and radicals within his country...everybody has got hold of the rope.
He wants 600 billion for rebuilding? Eff him. Get it from Soros and the Bidens and the rest who were involved in the money laundering scam within that hole.

This thing goes on for a good long while yet since the radical groups within that country will continue no matter what. Zell the bell tries to end the fighting by a even a cease fire and those groups will assassinate him ASAP.

The fact remains. Pig Face Bidet and his puppet masters dont give one rats ass about the death of thousands of people. Its all about their lust for POWER and MONEY.

“It sure didn’t stop resistance in Crimea and Donbas.”

Yes, it didn’t actually.

As usual you are retarded. There will be no referendum in Kherson. Crimea has 125% voter turnout and thus was also illegitimate.

Look closer at voter turnout data. 125% of turnout in Sevestopol but literally no one at the polls per observers. Except for the Tatar protestor who was dragged off on video and later found tortured to death.

Thats your “mandate”.

And in any case I seem to recall it was the Ukraine who contributed to the slander that Trump was urinating on prostitutes in a hotel room.

and some dems still think Trump stole 2016 with the help of Putin so who are we to judge or know for sure what the real story is over there?

Activists of the Orange Revolution were funded and trained in tactics of political organisation and nonviolent resistance by Western pollsters and professional consultants who were partly funded by Western government and non-government agencies but received most of their funding from domestic sources. [2] [150] According to The Guardian, the foreign donors included the U.S. State Department and USAID along with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, the International Republican Institute, the NGO Freedom House and George Soros's Open Society Institute. [151] The National Endowment for Democracy has supported democracy-building efforts in Ukraine since 1988. [152] Writings on nonviolent struggle by Gene Sharp contributed in forming the strategic basis of the student campaigns. [153]

International Republican Institute joined with Dem groups and Soro's Open Society Institute to help the Orange Revolution in Ukraine.

Now we're in the midst of a color revolution. How ironic is that?

Kherson is the same city where regular citizens keep leaving posters threatening to cut the soldier’s throats and where the installed government there has decided to skip even trying to fake a referendum.

None of it really matters as there’s nothing dumber than annexing a city before the conflict is even over. Ukraine has or will liberate Kharkiv Oblast in the next day or two. The offensive in Izyum has already collapsed. And Ukraine still hasn’t brought out its fresh reserves for its counter offensive yet.

So much for the mighty Russian army
