Not in Ohio, but I certainly would not be inclined to vote for a candidate that campaigns in church sanctuaries complete with setting up his campaign backdrops in the same.
I don’t know that Mike “the middle class doesn’t pay enough taxes” Gibbons would be electable after making those comments...not to mention he and Mandel both beclowning themselves during that one debate.

The thing is people with shows and websites get really bitter and jealous of other peoples success. Levin would be all for Thiel and JD Vance if they were singing praises to him everyday. Levin never had a problem with Thiel when he was a mega-donor for Ted Cruz in 2016. People on here only started hating on Levin when he got a real hate-on for Trump in 2016, reason why people don’t want to listen to him anymore. It really has nothing to do with Ukraine. I still listen and back Levin and promote him more than anyone on here. I just don’t agree with some of his preference in candidates.
Levin is a crafty devil. The RINOs are scraping the bottom of the barrel. They are becoming irrelevant. So the Mandel candidacy is where the friends of Golden Sacks turn out. It’s a full court press with Cruz, Levin, and all the closet RINOs and never Trumpers.
Has National Review done a hit piece on Vance yet? That’s about due. The Bush whacked RINOs are holding on for dear life.
Glad to see Marjorie Greene and Matt Gaetz go all out to support Vance.
Levin also doesn’t like Vance because Vance is promoted by Tucker. Levin dislikes Tucker. Tucker is one of the backbenchers that Mark accuses of stealing his material. Then Tucker ignores his books. Mark says he doesn’t care, but he keeps brining it up. So there is a whole bunch of jealously and gamesmanship going around. These endorsements and attacks are not always on the merits.
WOW. I had no idea. I love Mark Steyn. Anyone who would go up against him on intellect alone will not win.

I am not disagreeing with your particular points.
I do think many comments on many threads are in fact far over the top.
I supported and do support Cruz.
I do not like Trump more than Cruz. But I am not foolish enough to hate on Trump as if he were liberal.
That clearly seems to be the strong arm tactic among so many here at FR.
Without Levin, I genuinely believe that the Conservative movement in the US would be largely obliterated.
I still believe Trump is not particularly conservative. He does hold elite culture in contempt and that helps conservatives significantly. I do not think Vance is for real.
I think he is a sophisticated intellectual. He knows the rhetorical terrain and changes colors to fit it.
Josh Hawley and Charlie Kirk are stumping for Vance. That’s good enough for me.

Let’s face it, the only person who should’ve run here was Jim Jordan. Because unless we can somehow get him elected Speaker over the corrupted RINO Derp State turd Kevin McCarthy, he should’ve moved up to an office that would unite the base behind him. Otherwise, Gibbons is still the least bad of a bad bunch of characters.

Well it IS Ohio. GOP seats RINO’s when they get lucky enough to “win” a seat (e.g. Saxbe, Taft, Voinovich, Portman, DeWine), and the Dems send rabid progressives/unionists like Metzenbaum and Sherrod Brown,
