Yep it would be, and if that happens the odds of Truth Social ever taking off is doubtful. There’s just so many online platforms that can be supported heavily, and Truth Social is kind of late to the game.

So how da frack did GAB get a workaround that works on iPhone AND ‘Droid even though NEITHER store will host their app?
They had some kluge or something that enabled ‘Droid users to get on, so why cant tS pull off same?
I think the problem is either that TS hasn't even written the Android apk file yet or maybe they have but they know their infrastructure isn't up to par yet. Even the limited iPhone usage allowed has struggled a bit from what I've read.
Both iPhone and Android apps have to connect to the real app on a web server. That would be maybe app.truthsocial.com or something. Just because we can't get past truthsocial.com doesn't mean there's not a main app that iPhone users are already connecting to. Getting into google play store isn't the problem. The iPhone version is on iTunes. I just don't think the main app is running well enough yet for the millions of people that would pour in once the Android app is available and/or once they open up the web based app to PC/Mac web browsers.

It's probably only a small percentage of iPhone users who even desire to get on TS and not all of those people have been able to access it. Between iPhone, Android and PC/Mac, I'd say TS is running at 5-10% capacity since it's only iPhone as of yet and not even all iPhone users can access it.
I think the decision to debut TR on iPhone may turn out to be a very clever strategy.
By kissing up to Apple and giving them an exclusive, TR has walked right through “doors” that may have otherwise been hopelessly closed to them.
If they had debuted on, say, Frank Speech (the My Pillow guy’s platform), there are many, many people who would automatically write off TR as a right wing fringe disinformation platform.
But those same people are seeing it debut on Apple iPhone and wondering - if it’s trending on the Apple store, and Apple hasn’t banned it - can it really be right wing disinformation?
