For years now, through controversy after controversy, House Minority Leader KEVIN MCCARTHY has bent over backward to stay in former President DONALD TRUMP’s good graces, all to serve one major purpose: He wants to be speaker someday.
That hope may have just blown up on the launchpad.
On Thursday night, NYT’s Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns delivered an absolute stunner of a scoop: an audio recording of a phone call on Jan. 10, 2021, in which McCarthy is heard clearly and unambiguously saying that Trump should resign. Listen for yourself
What happens on the tape: McCarthy essentially conspires with Rep. LIZ CHENEY (R-Wyo.) about how to get Trump to step down as president after the Jan. 6 insurrection. On the call, Cheney — now Trump’s Enemy No. 1, but at the time, the House GOP’s No. 3 leader — asks McCarthy if Trump is going to resign. McCarthy responds: “I mean, you guys all know him, too — do you think he’d ever back away? But what I think I’m going to do is I’m going to call him … The only discussion I would have with him is that I think this [impeachment resolution] will pass and it would be my recommendation you should resign.”

McCarthy is just another run-of-the-mill swamp creature.
It doesn’t really matter. If McCarthy goes his replacement must be fished out of the corrupt DC GOP toilet bowl. Maybe we’ll get another Ryan or day of days, another Boehner.

I saw McCarthy give an interview on fox last week, and he was mouthing a lot of the right things, but there was something limp and weak about his delivery. I don’t know if I was picking up something about him in general, or if he really just didn’t believe in what he was saying.
He IS toast with CONSERVATIVES!! He is NOT toast with RINOS!!! (written by only 1 person).

Is a GOP majority going to do anything constructive?
Answer that first.
A House majority that could possibly do anything of value would expel McCarthy. Whether he is made leader or not (and of course he will be) is irrelevant to the big picture.
Two problems:
- He’s from California
- Being a Republican from California, he’s almost certainly a globalist tool of the MIC.
McConnell grooms these charlatans, just as he groomed Paul Ryan.
McConnell hates conservatives passionately, but he loves fooling them.
I’m shocked to read that there are many who feel that there are no GOOD Republican reps, who could fill the Speaker position.
I am seeing more and more impressive reps in interviews, who believe...REALLY BELIEVE...that we have an opportunity to have a consistently reliable SPEAKER.
Take a look at those who are fighting for sanity in government and who love America.

Hopefully he is toast. Putting RINOs back in charge isn’t going to fix anything. We’ve been through this dance a hundred times.

It looks like COVID, which was created by the Democrats and their Allies in the Big Net, actually wanted to have a RESET. So I say, let’s all RESTART the OS on the system, and load a different settings, and get rid of these old programs that kept hanging up the programs so they can run properly. Time to DELETE, eliminate, clean the Hard Drive, get rid of Virus and all of the 32 bit programs of things that cough, stumble, look stupid, and can’t remember.
While you’re dreaming ask yourself three questions. One where is he from? Two what has he done? Three who is he? California,nothing and heis toast.
