Hopefully he is toast. Putting RINOs back in charge isn’t going to fix anything. We’ve been through this dance a hundred times.
Remember, should the GOP win a House majority, the selection of a Speaker nominee will come in the first few weeks after the election... by the lame duck Congress.
Do you really think there will be enough renegade and freshmen critters to overthrow that candidate come the January election for Speaker?
If the Republicans get out of their own way and actually take control of the House and Senate it will be a hollow victory if they then turn around and keep Mitch and Mike in positions of power !
