Gosh, the other night I dreamed that Joe Biden won the presidential race and was already deep into the leftist goal of destroying the U.S.A.
Horrible!
On Golden Pond had a great scene - when Katharine Hepburn slaps Jane Fonda. Loved watching that part over and over …
I’ve never seen a movie that I truly liked, so.....
“Jesus Shows You the Way to the Highway”
I watched. No idea what it was really about, but a lot of Phillip K. Dick references.
Hold yer horses:
L’Humanite

French. Basically 2 hours of people staring at each other.
Tank Girl - so bad it is hilarious
Some cohen bro films were awesome
Like Ninja III the domination

And the chick is super 80s hot
I remember going on a first date to see The Money Pit back in the day, and I really wanted to walk out of the theater about a quarter of the way through.
I’ve seen worse....a lot worse.
“The Angry Red Planet” (1959). It was free to watch on Amazon Prime. I like Sci-fi movies. I even like dated sci-fi movies like “War of the Worlds” (1953).
This was not that. I don’t know how a movie as bad as “The angry Red Planet” ever got made and released. Horrendously bad special effects even for that era. Bad acting, although I don’t blame the actors, I think the source material was just too weak to act against. Dumb, but not so over the top dumb that it could be funny, like “Plan 9”.
Demolition Man???
It’s corny, but I’d still say it’s a classic. So many great lines of dialogue, the prediction of a future dominated by neo-Victorian PC police turned out to be eerily prescient, and the epic rant near the end by Denis Leary’s character make this one a keeper for me.
I’d almost agree, but I thought it was unintentionally hilarious.
Yeah, I liked Dark Star. You have to go in aware that it’s low budget and expect it to be “rough around the edges” though.
“They Saved Hitler’s Brain”
I will make a point to watch that one! Sometimes they are so bad that they are good.
Reminds me of Zappa’s monologue about “It conquered the world” where he claimed that you could a little bit of 2x4 attached to the monster. Lee van Cleef is in it.

Llamageddon
Any movie that got an Oscar, merely because of artistic content. Chances are that most of them bombed at the theaters.
“Attack of the killer tomatoes.”
That’s a good movie with a great soundtrack.
