Harris is their big problem. You think they are going to jettison the first “African American Female Vice President” (even though she isn’t), when black women are their biggest voting block. The outrage would be huge. They’re stuck with her.
Harris is poised to either set women back 50 years, or make stupidity acceptable in a chief executive. Granted, the bar is pretty low. And she’ll have media hacks covering for her.
And she would have even less public support than Biden. I believe that as atrocious as his numbers are, Biden still receives at least a little support from those who have sympathy for him for being a doddering old fool. Harris doesn’t have that sympathetic constituency, and instead is completely off putting to almost everyone. At first, I was worried that she might realize how repulsive her behavior is and suddenly recalibrate to fix her image, but now I realize she is so lacking in self-awareness, and so arrogant, that there is zero risk of her finding a way to become more attractive to voters. She’s so broken she can’t be fixed, and it’s really entertaining to watch the dem establishment squirm under that realization.
If I were the HO I’d make sure my security was VERY good...she could be a useful martyr for the Dems.
