I remember that clearly.

When I retired, the group I worked in were using 30, $3 million dollar each Nikon steppers (cameras) to print patterns for intergrated circuits.

US Patent number 4902608 is my patent for an improved developer machine and process for developing wafers.

Things have really changed.

Great story on your patent.

Digital cameras was one of the great disruption events. Seemed like the blink of an eye that everybody (except the professionals) stopped using film based cameras.

In the mid 1990s, I had purchased my first and only high end film camera with a detachable zoom lens and all the other bells and whistles. It was a Minolta and I think I paid about $800 at the time and got it from Hunts Photo in Melrose, MA, which was a really high end store. I probably still have it in a cardboard box somewhere in mint condition.
