That was from last night’s show. I took video of it to share with my husband, who is away til tomorrow. His reply? Our educational system is broken. He is so right. So very sad.

Both “WHEEL” and “JEOPARDY” have been slowly declining in the IQs of contestants since they watered down the exam one must pass to be considered for competing on TV; essentially an “open book” test online. Many who “pass” the online test do poorly in the actual show. Tuesday’s show was a sparkling example.

Pat’s response to the whole thing shows you what a gentleman he is. I’ve had stage fright before, so I know it happens to those of us who get thrust into situations they aren’t fully prepared for. Sajak is a better person than I am.

One of my favorite pastimes is watching “Stupid Game Show Answers” on youtube. There are classics from Wheel of Fortune,Family Feud (especially with Richard Dawson),Jeopardy, etc.
One of my many favorites is from Wheel of Fortune...the correct answer was “Wish List”...the contestant answered “Fish Love”.Another one...also from Wheel...was “A Group Of Pill Pushers”.Pat Sajak, with a stunned look on his face, shouted at the guy “this is Wheel of Fortune,Joe!!!”

I have been on that show. Much harder when you are there than sitting at home.. especially if you have been there all day and are the last ones to go on.
That said...it was pretty stupid to guess w
hat since those letters were on the board

I remember Richard Dawson on the Carson show talking about this answer on “Family Feud”:
Rudolph __________
One guy guessed “Hitler.”
