I always wondered what would happen after. There would be a nuclear winter. Like going for a hike or skiing in the forest? Trees would be dead. Like hunting? Animals would be dead. Like fishing? The fish would be dead. Like to be around other people? They would all be dead.
Pretty much a major nuclear exchange would eventually kill everything via the radiation. If Russia launched a full strike we wouldn’t even have to launch any retaliation. Russia would be dead in a few months.
Some insane hawkish types have tried to claim that a nuclear war is winnable. Sheer nonsense.
