Yellowstone co-star Forrie Smith says he will not attend the upcoming Screen Actors Guild Awards – citing the show’s mask and vaccine requirements.
Yellowstone, one of the best television shows on the air, has been nominated for the Outstanding Performance by an ensemble cast in a drama series category at the SAG awards.
The SAG Awards requires China virus vaccines, testing, and masks.
That is a deal breaker for Smith, who is known for playing the loyal Dutton family ranch hand Lloyd on Paramount’s smash hit, which just wrapped its fourth season.
Smith, who has been part of that ensemble since 2018, announced Monday on his Instagram page that he will not be in attendance.
“I want to apologizes to y’all for not being at the Screen Actors Guild Awards,” Smith told his Instagram followers in a video message. “I mean no offense to anyone. I’m not vaccinated, and it’s a requirement to be vaccinated.”
He also made it very clear he is also against any and all vaccinations — including seasonal flu shots.
“I’m not vaccinated, I will not get vaccinated,” Smith said. “I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid. I don’t vaccinate my dogs, I don’t vaccinate my horses. I’ve never had a flu shot. I never will. I believe they compromise your immunities.”
Smith said he had been looking forward to walking down the red carpet while wearing a black cowboy hat and a pair of boots, but will be absent.
“It’s just my beliefs… I just don’t believe in that stuff,” he said. “Whatever.”

and what do you plan on doing with your time after Yellowstone???
“Big Pharma is evidently your god.“
So it’s come to this.
We have a few people on the right now so utterly uninformed they have no clue that animals need to be vaccinated ?!
Hilarious actually .
You have have definitely never been close to a farm have you?
You would be laughed right off a farm if you said animals don’t need to vaccinated .
You will take some no name actors word that he won’t vaccinate his dog and form your opinion based off that statement .
Look! A troll!
My last 2 dogs saw a vet once.
One lasted 17 years the other lasted 12. 17 year old never saw a vet.
The one that lasted 12 was a Husky / Bloodhound mix. Beautiful, friendly, never left the property. Both dogs were indoor dogs.
Went to a vet to get a bordatella shot for a 1 week stay at a local well known border while I was on an unexpected trip. Vet said he was in great shape minus some arthritis. Picked the dog up after the trip he was dead 3 days later.
Having grown with animal agriculture, I’m just shocked anyone doesn’t realize that every farm animal is vaccinated .
But our nation is big and many people have no connection with agriculture so I guess that may explain it.
And I assume everyone would do the same for cats and dogs .
All indications are the pharmaceutical industry is corrupt from top to bottom, but that’s OK with you.
If the guy doesn’t want to vaccinate his animals, he wouldn’t have to in a free country, and evidently it’s worked out just fine.
It’s been fifteen minutes since your last booster.
Shouldn’t you be lining up for the next one?
Please get as many boosters as possible.
Never watched any of those. Now it's Chicago this, Chicago that, and FBI this, and FBI that. I'm very picky about the programs I watch. I don't like sit-coms at all. I liked SEAL Team on CBS, but this last season they split the first half, and aired it on the regular CBS cable channel, then aired the second half of the season on Paramount+, which I will not pay extra for. CBS did the same thing with the series "Evil". They aired the first season on their regular cable network, then moved the second season to Paramount+. These networks really know how to screw with the consumer.
If there’s something to the theory of Original Antigenic Sin, the guy may not be so foolish.
I think this is the one I started to watch and after less than ten minutes I clicked it OFF and vowed never to watch again.
“If the guy doesn’t want to vaccinate his animals, he wouldn’t have to in a free country, and evidently it’s worked out just fine.“
He doesn’t HAVE TO vaccinate them; or worm them. His choice. Not a good choice but it’s his choice.
Again guessing you aren’t familiar with agriculture on any level.
Take a day and drive out in the country and talk to a farmer.
Ask any of them who raise animals if they feels it’s a good idea not to vaccinate their animals.
Typical fascist. Anybody who does anything different than you is stupid and evil.
Would three-year-old rat terriers be considered “grown-up” and able to make their own decisions on shots?
Bella never truly grew up.
“Typical fascist. Anybody who does anything different than you is stupid and evil.”
Nah, never said that.
It’s a free country to make good or bad choices.
Just surprised a freeper gets ginned up by some dumb actors comments and use that to form their personal ideas about science .
I was serious in suggesting that you visit a farm.
Farmers love to talk about what they do and why they do it.
They have a lot of knowledge as they are out solving real problems every day.
The only farmers you would find who don’t vaccinate their animals are bankrupt ex farmers.
Sounds like this guy has a lot of experience too, but he doesn’t do what you do so he is obviously stupid and evil.
Ok I looked the guy up, he actually has been around horses. That’s refreshing to read.
But I do support his not attending these stupid awards because of the foolish vaccine requirement .
It’s totally unacceptable and tyrannical go EVER have this requirement .
My only disagreement was him stating he doesn’t believe in vaccinating animals .
As I previously said that is unwise.
But we humans are not farm animals , big difference
I like the show even more.
